Smithfield Foods, along with the University of Virginia and Virginia Tech, donated 62,000 pounds of protein to food banks in Virginia to support students and neighbors facing food insecurity. The donation marks the fifth year of the Smithfield Commonwealth Clash, a tradition that brings fans together to support local communities. Since its inception in 2021, Smithfield has donated 350,000 pounds of protein to help end hunger.
