Silvercorp Completes Acquisition of Tulkubash/Kyzyltash Gold Projects in Kyrgyzstan.

Silvercorp Metals has completed the acquisition of the Tulkubash/Kyzyltash Gold Projects in Kyrgyzstan from Chaarat Gold Holdings Limited. The project will be converted into a joint venture company with Silvercorp holding a 70% interest and Kyrgyzaltyn holding a 30% free-carried interest. The joint venture will apply for an extension of the mining license and Silvercorp will make a $60 million cash payment to the National Investment Agency. King & Wood Mallesons acted as lead legal counsel to Silvercorp on the transaction.
