Side Hustles Become the New Normal: Americans Earning $83.1B Extra per Month

A new survey by Omnisend shows that 31% of Americans have a side hustle, earning an extra $83.1 billion per month. The majority (73%) are motivated by financial need, and 44% sell products online, with Amazon and peer-to-peer resale platforms being the most popular. While half of the side hustlers started within the past year, they collectively generate billions of dollars in extra income each month.
