Shiba Inu Security Alert: Be Cautious with Wallet Addresses

The Shiba Inu team has warned Safe Wallet users of a potential security risk. Attackers have created thousands of lookalike wallet addresses to trick users into sending funds to the wrong destination. The team has identified 5,000 malicious addresses and flagged them to reduce accidental interaction. Users are advised to confirm the full address or recipients outside the platform, use an address book or allow list, and send a small test transaction first, especially for high-value transfers.
