Sedemac Mechatronics Limited completed the allocation of 2.41 million equity shares to anchor investors on March 2, 2026, as part of its ongoing initial public offering (IPO). The allotment aligns with the company's planned subscription period, which runs from March 4 to March 6, with a price band set at ₹1,287 to ₹1,352 per share (face value ₹10). The anchor investor allocation constitutes a significant portion of the 80.43 lakh shares offered under the IPO, which is structured entirely as an offer for sale (OFS) with no fresh issuance.

The IPO reserves up to 50% of shares for qualified institutional buyers (QIBs), 15% for non-institutional investors, and 35% for retail investors, with an additional ₹1 crore reserved for employee allocations. Proceeds from the OFS will directly benefit selling shareholders, including promoters Manish Sharma and Ashwini Amit Dixit, as well as institutional investors like A91 Emerging Fund and Xponentia Opportunities Fund.

Sedemac Mechatronics, a deeptech firm founded in 2007–08 at IIT Bombay, specializes in electronic control units (ECUs) for automotive and industrial applications. Its revenue grew from ₹423.03 crore in FY23 to ₹658.36 crore in FY25, with net profit surging to ₹47.05 crore in FY25 from ₹5.88 crore in FY24. For the quarter ending June 30, 2025, the company reported revenue of ₹217.36 crore and a profit of ₹17.07 crore.

The IPO's basis of allotment will be finalized on March 9, with refunds processed on March 10 and shares credited to demat accounts on the same day. Shares are slated to list on the BSE and NSE on March 11. Book-running lead managers include ICICI Securities, Avendus Capital, and Axis Capital, while MUFG Intime India Pvt. Ltd. serves as the registrar.
