SAP CPI Event-Driven Integration Architecture: A Three-Layer Design

This article discusses designing an event-driven integration architecture in SAP CPI. The 3-layer design pattern consists of a Routing layer, Transformation layer, and Subscriber layer. The Routing layer receives incoming HTTPS requests, determines the payload type, and routes it to the appropriate processing flow. The Transformation layer performs transformations for product and supplier data, publishing events to Solace queues. The Subscriber layer picks up messages from the queues and sends the final data to SFTP or S/4 Hana Cloud via HTTP, OData, or other adapters.
