Samsung Unveils Micro RGB Display: A Revolutionary Backlighting System for Large TVs

Samsung has unveiled Micro RGB, a new display technology featuring a micro-scale RGB LED backlight behind a 115-inch screen. It uses micrometre-scale red, green, and blue LEDs for more precise control over colour and contrast. Micro RGB has frame-by-frame AI processing, glare-reducing hardware, and full BT.2020 colour gamut coverage for accurate and consistent visual performance. It differs from traditional LCDs and mini-LED displays by using individually controlled RGB micro-LEDs for precise colour adjustments.
