Rumble Partners Tron DAO to Decentralize Web with Blockchain
Rumble, a cloud services and video-sharing platform, has announced a strategic partnership with TronTRON-- DAO to accelerate the decentralization of the web through decentralized applications (dApps) and blockchain technology. The collaboration aims to reduce reliance on large-scale enterprise cloud providers and enhance censorship resistance.
Rumble's founder and CEO, Chris Pavlovski, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, stating that blockchain and cryptocurrency align with Rumble's mission to promote and protect free expression. He highlighted the compatibility of these technologies with Rumble's goals and expressed excitement about the long-term relationship with Tron DAO.
Rumble Cloud, the core of this partnership, is designed to compete with Big Tech cloud firms by offering an advanced, censorship-resistant infrastructure. It provides a range of cloud computing solutions, including Kubernetes orchestration, virtual machines, load balancers, and secure storage. With Tron's integration, RumbleRUM-- Cloud can support decentralized projects to scale without the limitations typically associated with traditional cloud providers. This includes eliminating issues such as arbitrary censorship, vendor lock-in, and high costs, aligning with Rumble's objective of fostering free expression and building an internet model free from traditional gatekeepers.
Tron, led by Justin Sun, is known for its active blockchain ecosystem that prioritizes open access, user empowerment, and decentralization. The network has gained significant popularity and growth, recently emerging as the top platform for Tether's USDT, hosting over 63% of the total USDT in circulation. The partnership with Rumble aligns with Tron's long-term vision of creating a decentralized web that is secure, fast, scalable, and censorship-resistant. Justin Sun emphasized that the collaboration with Rumble Cloud reinforces Tron's commitment to building an open and user-owned internet, providing more freedom to innovate.
Tron has consistently outperformed Ethereum in stablecoin transactions, showcasing its preference for fast, efficient, and cost-friendly USDT transfers. While Ethereum processes a block every 12 seconds and handles 27 transactions per second, Tron processes a block every 3 seconds and handles 2,000 transactions per second. This efficiency has contributed to Tron's growing popularity and its role as a leading platform for stablecoin transfers.
