Rivian Announces R2 Electric SUV Availability in UK, But Not Until 2028

Rivian, a US electric SUV maker, will bring its R2 to the UK in 2028, with the Performance model arriving first. The R2 will have a dual motor all-wheel drive, 647bhp, and a 0 to 60mph time of 3.6 seconds. It will have an estimated range of 330 miles and can tow up to 2,000kg. The R2 Premium will follow, with 450bhp and a 4.6-second 0 to 60mph time. Prices start at around $45,000 (£34,000).
