RGUKT Organizes National Level Quantum Computing Hackathon Bootcamp

The Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies (RGUKT) Nuzvid-IIIT organized a two-day national level Amaravati Quantum Valley Hackathon Bootcamp–2025 on its campus. The event featured brainstorming sessions and workshops on quantum computing, with guest speakers from various institutions and companies. Students participated in the event to learn about quantum computing and its applications. The hackathon was organized by the management of Nuzvid-IIIT and the A.P. State Council of Higher Education in association with several organizations.

The Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies (RGUKT) Nuzvid-IIIT recently organized a two-day national-level Amaravati Quantum Valley Hackathon Bootcamp–2025 on its campus. The event, held on August 21-22, 2025, featured brainstorming sessions and workshops on quantum computing, drawing participation from students eager to learn about this cutting-edge technology and its applications.

The hackathon was organized by the management of Nuzvid-IIIT and the A.P. State Council of Higher Education, in collaboration with several prominent organizations, including the Department of Science and Technology, IBM, UNESCO, QKrishi Quantum, Quanfluence Private Limited, and Tata Consultancy Services. The event aimed to foster innovation and exploration in quantum computing, providing students with a platform to interact with industry experts and gain practical insights.

Guest speakers included Dr. C. Chandramouli from Sri Krishnadevarayana University, Prof. Indrakshiroy Chowdary from Bits Pilani, K.K. Birla Goa Campus, Sujay Chowdary, CEO of Quanfluence Pvt. Ltd., and Quantum research software engineer Rishikesh from QKrishi Quantum. These experts interacted with students, clarifying doubts and offering guidance on quantum computing.

The event was coordinated by RGUKT Registrar Prof. Sandra Amarendra Kumar, hackathon coordinator Srinivasulu, Dean P. Shyam, administrative officer B. Lakshmana Rao, Dean of academics S. Chiranjeevi, and other staff members. Their collective efforts ensured a successful and engaging hackathon, contributing to the growth of quantum computing knowledge and research in India.
