Galaxy Digital, the investment firm founded by Mike Novogratz, has launched GalaxyOne, a unified financial platform offering U.S. investors access to high-yield cash deposits, cryptocurrency trading, and equities in a single ecosystem. The platform, which became available on iOS, Android, and web in late 2025, positions itself as a bridge between traditional finance (TradFi) and digital assets, targeting both retail and accredited investors. GalaxyOne's core offering includes a 4.00% annual percentage yield (APY) on cash deposits, backed by FDIC-insured accounts at Cross River Bank, and an 8.00% APY through its Galaxy Premium Yield program, reserved for accredited investors. These rates are generated via Galaxy's institutional lending desk, which has a loan book exceeding $1.1 billion.

The platform's integration of cash yield, crypto, and equities marks a strategic shift in Galaxy's business model. "We've spent years building institutional-quality infrastructure to serve sophisticated investors. Now, we're extending that edge to individuals," stated Novogratz. GalaxyOne's design allows users to reinvest earned interest into BitcoinBTC--, EthereumETH--, and SolanaSOL--, automating compounding without manual intervention. This feature aligns with the growing demand for yield-generating products in the crypto sector, a trend underscored by the recent rise of stablecoin yield offerings and institutional-grade lending protocols.

GalaxyOne's launch follows the acquisition of Fierce Technology in 2024, a move that cost Galaxy approximately $12.5 million. The platform now operates under four core products: Galaxy Premium Yield, GalaxyOne Cash, GalaxyOne Crypto, and GalaxyOne Brokerage. The brokerage component enables commission-free trading of over 2,000 U.S. stocks and ETFs, with fractional shares and retirement accounts (IRAs) also supported. Additionally, investors can lend their stocks through the GalaxyOne Stock Lending program, generating passive income.

Regulatory constraints have limited GalaxyOne's features at launch. The platform does notNOT-- currently offer yields on stablecoins, a restriction tied to the U.S. GENIUS Act, which bans yield-bearing stablecoin products. Despite this, analysts like Nic Carter of Castle Island Ventures anticipate continued demand for yield products, potentially forcing traditional banks to compete more aggressively. GalaxyOne's institutional-grade infrastructure, including its $1.1 billion loan book and white-glove client service, aims to differentiate it in a crowded market.

Looking ahead, GalaxyOne's roadmap includes expanding its offerings to business accounts, crypto staking, and advanced lending products. Zac Prince, Managing Director of GalaxyOne, emphasized the platform's role in democratizing access to institutional-grade financial tools: "GalaxyOne delivers a unified opportunity to earn yield, trade crypto, and access equities-all supported by our financial discipline and institutional oversight". The company's long-term vision is to become a "full-spectrum financial services provider," integrating TradFi and digital assets into a seamless, regulated ecosystem.
