Queensland Tops National Economic Ranking Despite Credit Rating Downgrade

Queensland tops the nation in CommSec's State of the States index, ranking well in most areas, including 16.8% growth in investment in dwellings and a 9% increase in business investment. However, the state is attracting only 3% of booming investment in AI data centers across the country. The results come as the Queensland government faces scrutiny over its financial management following a credit rating downgrade.
