This positive sentiment comes as Nasdaq has formally submitted a proposal to the SEC to introduce tokenized securities trading, aiming to innovate market infrastructure and expand regulatory-compliant digital assetDAAQ-- offerings, pending approval.
UnitedHealth Group shares rose nearly 4% in pre-market trading, as the company reaffirmed its 2025 earnings outlook, alleviating investor concerns about rising medical costs. Meanwhile, Alibaba's stock climbed nearly 3% after a Wall Street analyst raised the price target for the e-commerce giant. In contrast, UBS Group's shares dropped over 1% in pre-market trading, facing a potential $3 billion capital requirement increase. Novo Nordisk's stock also declined over 1%, as pricing power worries and increased competitive pressure from rivals weighed on the company.
