Pinterest Appoints Fintan Gillespie as Britain, Ireland Managing Director

Pinterest has appointed Fintan Gillespie as its new managing director for Britain and Ireland, effective September 18th. Gillespie previously held senior roles in global advertising partnerships at Snap and worked with brands and agencies at Google in Britain. He will oversee the company's business, working with advertisers and partners in addition to overseeing the local team. Pinterest is increasingly focused on its international expansion, with more than 80% of its monthly active users based outside North America, and revenue in Europe growing 12% year on year in the second quarter.
