Pearson's AI outperforms general AI in education, CEO says

Pearson, a British education company, reports a 6% rise in operating profit to £614m ($830m) in 2025. The company says its use of AI in education courses delivers better outcomes for students, in contrast to general AI models which have a negative impact on learning and reasoning skills. Pearson's CEO, Omar Abbosh, believes the company's products are defensible and robust, and that the company operates at a high level of trust.
