Preethi Pal, a para athlete from Uttar Pradesh, has overcome cerebral palsy to excel in the T35 women's sprint category. She won bronze medals in the women's 100m and 200m events in the Paris Paralympics and became the first Indian woman to win two medals in track and field events at the Paralympic Games. She has also won gold in the T35 women's 100m and 200m events in the 7th Indian Open para athletics championships.
