Origin Agritech has signed a license deal with Shandong Shunfeng Biotech for the Cas-SF01 gene editing tool. The deal grants the company access to IP-protected gene editing technologies to support its research and development in trait gene editing. The agreement supports Origin Agritech's Smart Plant Architecture breeding program and enables direct breeding applications. Shares of Origin Agritech were down 2.76% overnight on the Nasdaq.
