Oracle's third-quarter fiscal 2025 profit fell short of expectations, with revenue of $14.13 billion, up 6% YoY, lower than the anticipated $14.39 billion. Adjusted EPS was $1.47, lower than the anticipated $1.49.

Cloud revenue was $6.2 billion, up 25% YoY, still lower than the anticipated $6.3 billion; cloud infrastructure revenue was $2.7 billion, up 49% YoY, largely in line with expectations. Operating margin: 44%, higher than the anticipated 43.6%.

The company expects revenue growth of 15% in fiscal 2026, higher than the market's expectation of 12.6%, and expects revenue growth of about 20% in fiscal 2027.

Oracle CEO Safra Catz stated that it has signed cloud agreements with OpenAI, xAI, MetaMETA--, NvidiaNVDA--, and AMDAMD--, and the $130 billion backlog of sales will drive revenue growth in the next fiscal year.

The company stated that it is on track to double its data center capacity by the end of this year to meet the strong demand for AI from its customers.
