OCI Sells 3.33 Mln Methanex Shares for $172.6 Mln, Reduces Stake to 8.6%

OCI N.V. has sold 3.33 mln Methanex Corp shares, representing 4.3% of the company's outstanding shares, for around $172.6 mln. The shares were sold at $51.80 apiece through a block trade on March 13. OCI now owns or controls 6.61 mln Methanex shares, or about 8.6% of the outstanding shares. The sale generated net proceeds of around $172.6 mln after customary fees and expenses.
