NZ Post to Close 142 Urban Retail Stores in Network Overhaul

NZ Post is closing 142 urban retail stores, including 29 in Auckland and 22 in Christchurch, as part of a network overhaul. The decision is based on a review of customer usage of urban retail services. Some customers will be over 13km away from their next closest store, affecting locations such as Brighton, Palmerston North, and Kāpiti.
