NVIDIA has announced the general availability of the NVIDIA Jetson AGX Thor Developer Kit and NVIDIA Jetson T5000 module, empowering developers to build the future of physical AI. The Jetson Thor platform combines a supercomputer for generative reasoning and multimodal, multisensor processing, enabling robots to operate flexibly across industries and reducing costs. It accelerates foundation models, allowing for challenges like object manipulation, navigation, and following complex instructions. The platform consists of a hardware abstraction layer, real-time control framework, perception and planning, and high-level reasoning. Jetson Thor delivers unmatched performance and scalability, providing up to 2070 FP4 teraflops of AI compute and up to 7.5x higher AI compute compared to NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin.
