NVIDIA announces UK AI infrastructure partnership with Microsoft and OpenAI

NVIDIA has announced a significant partnership with Microsoft and OpenAI to invest in artificial intelligence (AI) infrastructure in the UK. This strategic move comes amidst a growing global trend of tech giants pouring billions into AI and cloud computing infrastructure.

According to a Bloomberg report, NVIDIA and OpenAI will be investing in data centers in the UK, with the total value of the investment being in the billions of dollars. The project is being spearheaded by London-based Nscale Global Holdings and is expected to be announced during US President Donald Trump's visit to the UK .

The partnership is part of a broader trend of tech companies investing heavily in AI and cloud computing infrastructure. Microsoft has already announced plans to invest $30 billion in the UK between 2025 and 2028, including $15 billion in capital expenditures, to build the UK's largest supercomputer.
