NSW Corruption Inquiry Draws Global Attention, Developer Jean Nassif Accuses Politicians

Jean Nassif, a Lebanese developer dubbed "The Fugitive," has testified from Beirut in the NSW corruption inquiry, accusing former police minister David Elliott of being a "racist person" and running a mafia operation to stop his developments. Nassif also attacked former radio broadcaster Ray Hadley, calling him a liar. Elliott has denied the allegations, stating he only raised concerns about defects in Nassif's Toplace buildings. Nassif fled the country in December 2022 and has a warrant out for his arrest over serious fraud offenses.
