Nasdaq 100 Set to Welcome Six New Members, Farewell to Six Others

Six companies - Alnylam Pharmaceuticals, Ferrovial, Insmed, Monolithic Power Systems, Seagate Technology, and Western Digital - will join the Nasdaq 100 Index, while six others - Biogen, CDW, GlobalFoundries, Lululemon Athletica, ON Semiconductor, and The Trade Desk - will be removed. The new additions have posted at least double-digit gains in 2025, while the departing companies have underperformed the index. The Nasdaq 100 is up 20% this year, led by mega-cap tech shares.
