Morningstar, PitchBook Launch Evergreen Private Market Fund Index Suite

Morningstar and PitchBook are launching a comprehensive index suite for evergreen private market funds, expected to become available in Q1 2026. The indexes will measure the performance of nontraded "semiliquid" or "evergreen" funds across private equity, private debt, real estate, infrastructure, and multi-asset strategies. The launch aims to address the gap in tools for investors to conduct due diligence and compare performance on a consistent basis in the rapidly growing evergreen fund market.
