Morningstar Launches New Generative AI Index to Track Private Tech Giants

Morningstar has launched a new index, the PitchBook GenAI 20 Index, which tracks the performance of private AI companies such as Anthropic, Databricks, and OpenAI. The index excludes hardware businesses and allows private companies to remain in the index after they go public. This new index could unlock opportunities for everyday ETF investors interested in the AI space.
