Morgan Stanley (MS.US) has established a new division called the Client-Management Unit, which will be headed by experienced executive Mandell Crawley. This unit will integrate client coverage, strategy, and marketing operations. In a Monday memo, Morgan Stanley Co-Presidents Saperstein and Simkowitz wrote that the division "aims to foster coordination and business outcomes across our businesses." Regarding appointments, Crawley will serve as the Chief Client Officer of the consolidated corporate management unit. He has worked at Morgan Stanley for 32 years and led the private wealth management division. In his new role, Crawley will report to Co-Presidents Andy Saperstein and Dan Simkowitz. The company has also appointed Elizabeth Dennis as the global head of client coverage. She will report directly to Crawley, the head of wealth management division, and the co-head of investment banking.
