Monks Investment Trust PLC reported a 29% net asset value total return in H1, beating its benchmark FTSE World index in sterling. The company's NAV per share with borrowings at fair value was £1,634.5 at the end of October. Top performers included military drone maker AeroVironment Inc and Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co Ltd, while insurer Elevance Health Inc dragged on performance. Monks Investment maintained its "deliberate" approach to artificial intelligence, with over 30% of the portfolio exposed to the AI value chain.
