Mitsubishi Considera Aquisição de Participação na Raízen

Mitsubishi is evaluating a potential acquisition of a stake in Brazilian sugar and ethanol producer Raízen, as part of Cosan's plan to raise capital to reduce its growing debt. Raízen is a joint venture between Cosan and Shell. The Cosan aims to raise R$10 billion in capital for Raízen, with Itaú BBA working with Cosan, Lazard with Shell, and Citi with Raízen.
