A Michigan woman, Cheaira Broughton, has pleaded guilty to organizing a high-volume theft ring targeting Ulta Beauty stores in Wayne, Oakland, and Macomb counties. Broughton faces a 20-year felony charge for conducting a criminal enterprise. The group, which exceeded $30,000 in losses, would enter stores, grab high-value merchandise, and sell it on Facebook Marketplace. Broughton will be sentenced on April 17, 2026. The investigation was a collaboration between the FORCE Team, corporate investigators, and state and local law enforcement.
