MFS Taxable Closed-End Funds Extend Shareholder Meetings

MFS Investment Management has adjourned special shareholder meetings for MFS Charter Income Trust, MFS Intermediate High Income Fund, MFS Government Markets Income Trust, MFS Intermediate Income Trust, and MFS Multimarket Income Trust. The meetings, originally scheduled for March 11, 2026, have been rescheduled to April 2, 2026. The adjournment allows for additional shareholder votes on proposals related to the funds' reorganizations and the appointment of Aberdeen as the new investment adviser to the surviving fund.
