Meta (META.US) is being sued by more than 30 US states over allegations that its social media platforms are addictive to teenagers.

A federal judge in California on Tuesday ruled that Meta, the parent company of Facebook, must face lawsuits brought by states accusing it of exacerbating mental health problems among teenagers through the addictive nature of its Facebook and Instagram platforms.
