MEG Energy Reports Q3 Profit Down to $159M, Revenue Down to $1.18B

MEG Energy Corp. reported a Q3 profit of $159M, down from $167M last year. Revenue fell to $1.18B from $1.27B, while production reached a record 108,166 barrels per day. Diluted earnings per share were flat at 62 cents. The company's shareholders recently approved an $8.6-billion takeover by Cenovus Energy Inc.
