MediWound's EscharEx Phase III VALUE Study Continues Without Modification

MediWound's Phase III VALUE study for EscharEx in venous leg ulcers will continue without modification after an independent DSMB review found no safety concerns. The DSMB recommends the trial continue as planned, supporting EscharEx's safety and efficacy evaluation. The study is expected to complete patient enrollment by Q1 2027, with a pre-specified interim sample-size reassessment also planned. MediWound CEO Ofer Gonen said the DSMB recommendation is encouraging and consistent with the favorable safety profile observed across the EscharEx clinical program.
