Mohit Kabra has been promoted to Group Chief Operating Officer at MakeMyTrip, overseeing operations across business units and driving company-wide strategies. Dipak Bohra has been appointed Group Chief Financial Officer, bringing 30 years of experience, including 23 years at Wipro, to strengthen financial management and governance at the travel platform. Both will report to Rajesh Magow, Co-Founder and Group CEO.

MakeMyTrip, a leading travel booking platform, has announced significant changes in its leadership and strategic alliances aimed at bolstering its position in the travel industry. Mohit Kabra has been promoted to Group Chief Operating Officer (COO), overseeing operations across business units and driving company-wide strategies. Dipak Bohra has been appointed Group Chief Financial Officer (CFO), bringing extensive experience to strengthen financial management and governance at the travel platform. Both executives will report to Rajesh Magow, Co-Founder and Group CEO.

The promotions come on the heels of MakeMyTrip's strategic alliance with Vietnam's Sun Hospitality & Entertainment Group, which aims to attract more Indian tourists to Vietnam. The partnership will offer Sun Group's resorts, hotels, and attractions via MakeMyTrip's platform, enhancing travel experiences for Indian tourists. Indian arrivals in Vietnam have surged, growing from 169,000 in 2019 to 501,000 in 2024, a 231% increase, and 337,000 in the first half of 2025 MakeMyTrip seals strategic alliance with Vietnam's Sun Hospitality & Entertainment Group[1].

Sun Hospitality & Entertainment Group, under Sun Group, operates eight theme parks and destinations across Vietnam, along with 15 resorts. The partnership seeks to further strengthen Vietnam's position as a high-quality, experiential destination of choice for Indian tourists.

The leadership changes and strategic alliances underscore MakeMyTrip's commitment to expanding its offerings and enhancing customer experiences, particularly in key markets like Vietnam.
