Macy's Stock Soars 34%, Despite Fund Cutting $10 Million Stake

Macy's stock has surged 34% but one fund, Dupree Financial Group, has cut its bet on the retailer by $10 million after selling 486,867 shares in Q4. The estimated value of the shares sold was $9.97 million. Macy's now accounts for 2.6% of Dupree Financial Group's reportable assets under management. The fund's top holdings include BTI, AGNC, VZ, BP, and ENB. Macy's has outperformed the S&P 500 by 18.9 percentage points over the past year.
