Bertrand, currently CEO of Loro Piana, will join the LVMH Executive Committee in January 2026 and succeed Frédéric Arnault, who is set to take over as CEO of Loro Piana. Arnault, the second youngest son of LVMH chairman and CEO Bernard Arnault, will join Loro Piana in March for a transition period. Bertrand's appointment as deputy CEO of Louis Vuitton marks his return to the brand, where he previously worked as managing director in charge of the women's, men's, and baby's business units from 2016 to 2021.
Angeloglou, another LVMH executive with a background at L'Oréal, has been appointed deputy CEO of Christian Dior Couture. He joined Vuitton in 2019 as strategic missions director for fashion and leather goods and later became executive vice president in 2021. Angeloglou's appointment marks his return to Christian Dior Couture, where he previously worked alongside Delphine Arnault, who left Vuitton to become chairman and CEO of the brand in 2023.
The appointments of Bertrand and Angeloglou reflect LVMH's strategy of grooming and promoting talent from within. This approach has been successful in the past, with many executives moving between brands and gaining valuable experience. For example, Bertrand will be reunited with Pietro Beccari, who helmed Dior before becoming chairman and CEO of Louis Vuitton in 2023. Similarly, Angeloglou will be reunited with Delphine Arnault.
The management shuffle also sets the stage for a new manager-designer duo at Fendi. Angeloglou, who became managing director of LVMH Fashion Group in March 2024 and was also named CEO of Fendi last May, will likely work closely with the brand's artistic director. Kim Jones, who stepped down as Fendi's artistic director of haute couture, ready-to-wear, and fur in October 2022, has not yet been replaced.
