LG Display Patent Protected by USPTO, Tianma's Invalidations Rejected

The US Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) has dismissed an inter partes review (IPR) petition filed by Chinese display maker Tianma against LG Display's OLED patent. The USPTO cited concerns over potential foreign government influence and lack of standing, as Tianma is controlled by a state-owned aerospace and defense conglomerate. The patent in question covers OLED technology used in mobile and IT devices.
