LBank Leads $15M Donation Drive to Restore DEXX

LBank, a leading global cryptocurrency exchange, has taken the initiative to spearhead a $15 million donation drive for the recovery of DEXX, an innovative on-chain trading terminal that suffered a significant attack in November 2024. The donation, joined by prominent industry players such as MEXC Ventures, HashKey Capital, SevenX Ventures, and Mask Network, aims to compensate users affected by the DEXX incident.

The $15 million donation will be used exclusively for user compensation, with LBank and MEXC Ventures establishing the Meme Prosperity Committee to ensure the transparent and effective allocation of funds. DEXX has already taken steps to expedite the reimbursement process, opening a dedicated compensation portal in December 2024 and an NFT staking portal in February 2025.

LBank's commitment to transparency and accountability in the donation process reflects its dedication to fostering the sustainable development of innovative on-chain meme products. This is not the first time LBank has demonstrated its support for the crypto community, having launched a donation initiative for SLERF in March 2024 and successfully listing high-quality assets such as GOAT, MOODENG, AI16Z, and VIRTUAL throughout the year.
