Lava Blaze Dragon 5G Launched with Snapdragon 4 Gen 2, Starting Price Rs 9,999.

Lava has launched the Blaze Dragon 5G smartphone in the budget segment. It features a 6.74-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate, powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset, and a dual camera setup with a 50MP sensor and an 8MP selfie camera. The phone is available in 4GB RAM + 128GB storage for Rs 9,999 and will go on sale starting August 1 exclusively on Amazon.

Lava International Limited has recently introduced the Blaze Dragon 5G, a budget smartphone aimed at the Indian market. The device, which is part of the Blaze series, features a 6.74-inch HD+ LCD screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and 450+ nits peak brightness. Powering the Blaze Dragon 5G is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 4nm Mobile Platform, which includes two A78-based and six A55-based Kryo CPUs, and is paired with 4GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The phone runs on Android 15 with zero bloatware.

The Blaze Dragon 5G comes with a dual camera setup on the back, featuring a 50MP primary camera and an 8MP selfie camera. Additionally, it includes a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, 3.5mm audio jack, FM Radio, and supports 5G, dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, GLONASS, and USB Type-C. The device is equipped with a 5000mAh battery that supports 18W charging.

The Lava Blaze Dragon 5G will be available in Golden Mist and Midnight Mist colors, priced under Rs. 10,000. It will be exclusively sold on Amazon.in starting August 1. Lava has partnered with Qualcomm for the chipset, with Sumit Singh, Head – Product, Lava International Limited, noting that the collaboration reflects Lava's commitment to delivering world-class smartphones and innovative experiences to Indian consumers. Saurabh Arora, Head of Mobile, Compute, and XR Business, Qualcomm India, echoed this sentiment, highlighting the shared commitment to driving innovation in the Indian smartphone landscape.
