Lam Research Shares Surge After Strong Q2 Results, Positive Q3 Outlook

Lam Research Corporation (LRCX) shares climbed on Wednesday following the release of its fiscal second-quarter results, which beat analyst estimates, and a positive outlook for the third quarter. The semiconductor equipment manufacturer reported non-GAAP diluted earnings per share (EPS) of $0.91, surpassing the consensus estimate of $0.88. Revenue for the quarter came in at $4.38 billion, also topping the analyst consensus estimate of $4.31 billion.
