Labcorp Expands Outreach Services in 13 States with $194M Acquisition from Community Health Systems

Community Health Systems has completed the sale of select outreach laboratory assets to Labcorp for approximately $194 million cash. The transaction is expected to provide patients and providers with broader access to Labcorp's comprehensive testing and laboratory services. CHS-affiliated health systems will continue to operate inpatient and emergency department laboratories and provide laboratory services for hospital-based services.
