Koninklijke KPN N.V. (KPN), a leading telecommunications and IT service provider in the Netherlands, has successfully issued a EUR 800 million senior unsecured bond with a 3.375% coupon maturing on 17 February 2035. The new bond increases the average maturity of KPN's outstanding bonds and has been placed with a broad range of institutional investors. The proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes, including refinancing of existing debt.

The bond is issued under KPN's Global Medium Term Note programme and will be listed on the regulated market of Euronext Dublin. Proceeds will be used to refinance existing debt and for general corporate purposes, including investments in fiber broadband and 5G networks, growth in service revenues and EBITDA, and attractive shareholder remuneration initiatives.

KPN has a credit rating of BBB with stable outlook by S&P and BBB with stable outlook by Fitch. The Bonds have been placed with the assistance of Barclays, Deutsche Bank, Rabobank, Santander, and SEB acting as Joint Lead Managers.




The successful issuance of this bond reflects KPN's strong financial position and ability to access capital markets at favorable terms. The proceeds will support KPN's strategic objectives and capital expenditure plans, enabling the company to invest in network infrastructure, drive growth in service revenues and EBITDA, and fund attractive shareholder remuneration initiatives. As KPN continues to navigate the competitive telecommunications landscape, its diversified revenue streams and strong financial profile position the company favorably for future growth and stability.
