Kindercare Admits to Safety Failures Following Chemical Burns Incident

A childcare company in Christchurch, Kindercare, has admitted to failing on safety after an incident in which seven people suffered chemical burns. The incident occurred when a chemical intended for a kitchen sterilizer was mistaken for dishwashing liquid and poured on a slip and slide. All seven people, including five children, were hospitalized but have since been discharged.
