Khaite Forms Joint Venture with Yagi Tsusho to Expand in Japan

Khaite, a New York-based designer brand, has formed a joint venture with Yagi Tsusho Ltd. to launch in Japan. The joint venture, Khaite Japan Corp., will begin operations for the fall season next year. Yagi Tsusho will handle local operational expertise and relationships to introduce Khaite in key retail and digital channels in Japan. Khaite's founder, Catherine Holstein, has won the CFDA's American Womenswear Designer of the Year award in both 2022 and 2023.
