This includes the establishment of a new NIMHANS branch and the Institute of Diabetology in Kalaburagi, cancer hospitals in Raichur and Bidar, and a super-specialty hospital in Koppal. Furthermore, ₹100 crore has been allocated for promoting MSMEs and a 50:50 cost-sharing model with the Forest Department for afforestation [1].
The board also discussed the recent decline in SSLC results and plans to provide necessary infrastructure upgrades once the education department submits a district-wise list of requirements. Additionally, a mega dairy is being set up in Kalaburagi at a cost of ₹50 crore to support local dairy farmers and boost rural livelihoods [1].
