A US federal judge has temporarily blocked prosecutors from using evidence seized from Daniel Richman, a law professor and former attorney for former FBI Director James Comey. The judge ruled that Richman's Fourth Amendment rights were violated by the seizure of his electronic devices in 2019 and 2020. The ruling comes as the Justice Department considers another indictment of Comey, whose original case was dismissed last month. Richman has asked the court to order the deletion or return of the seized material and to prohibit its use in any future efforts to indict Comey.
