Johnson Controls Trading Volume Surges 54.24% to $408 Million Ranking 264th in Daily Volume

This surge placed JCIJCI-- at the 264th position in terms of trading volume for the day. The stock price of JCI also rose by 1.91%, marking the seventh consecutive day of gains and a total increase of 12.69% over the past week.
Johnson Controls, in collaboration with HACC, Central Pennsylvania’s Community College, recently held a partnership showcase. The event highlighted the Johnson Controls Scholars Program, which offers scholarships, emergency assistance funding, and industry connections to HACC students enrolled in skilled trades programs. The program aims to address the skilled trades workforce gap by providing essential training and support to students.
Katie McGinty, vice president and chief sustainability and external relations officer at Johnson Controls, emphasized the importance of such programs in training the next generation of skilled workers. She noted the positive impact of the program on the quality of graduates and expressed excitement about their future career growth. HACC President and CEO John J. “Ski” Sygielski also praised the collaboration, stating that it empowers the next generation of professionals with the necessary education and training to thrive in their careers.
Paul Arciba, a HACC student, shared his personal experience with the program, highlighting how it provided essential tools for his classes, helped him repair his car, and offered valuable learning experiences. He expressed gratitude for the support from Johnson Controls and excitement about his future career prospects. Since 2023, Johnson Controls has donated $200,000 to HACC through its Community College Partnership Program, which aims to expand access to educational programs in HVAC, fire, security, and digital disciplines. The company is on track to donate $15 million by the end of 2026 to support these initiatives.
