Itron Supports Virtual Power Plants in Western Australia with Distributed Energy Resource Management System.

Itron is supporting Project Jupiter in Australia to accelerate the integration of distributed energy resources and enable households and businesses to participate in virtual power plants. Itron's Low Voltage Distributed Energy Resource Management System (LV DERMS) is being used by Synergy, Western Australia's largest electricity generator, to register, monitor and control DERs, including rooftop solar and customer batteries. This aims to enhance the integration and management of battery energy storage systems.
