Philip Morris International is under investigation by Italy's competition watchdog for allegedly misleading customers through advertising phrases like "smoke-free" and "smoke-free future" for certain products. The AGCM has carried out inspections at company premises and said these phrases could mislead consumers about the addictive and harmful nature of the products. Philip Morris has not commented on the matter.
